I cleoced every second hole and inserted the appropriate rivet as called out in the plans. I also dimpled the flanges prior to riveting where the doublers lay. For the W-707F, many folks machine countersink, but I have read that dimpling creates a stronger joint, so, that's what I did.
I left out the rivets in the rear spar as per the plans , but did rivet one that shouldn't have been riveted. I removed that along with two other rivets that had to be replaced.
Over all, I'm pretty satisfied with the results.
